What it does

  • Business profile: your sales channels (up to 12), product categories (up to 30), expense accounts (up to 60) — pre-fill from your files.
  • CSV import with column mapping for your own column names; date and amount parsing; duplicate, missing-value and business-rule checks with clear error codes and downloadable error lists.
  • Rows that fail checks are held back and block the month's close — never silently included.
  • Monthly close: P&L by channel and category, shared costs allocated by revenue, budget vs actual, operating-profit bridge vs prior month and budget, optional reconciliation to payout totals.
  • Dashboard with month, channel and category filters; trace any figure to its source lines.
  • Management report export: PDF and CSV. Audit log export. Save and reopen your work as a workspace file.

Your data stays on your computer

The Kit is a single file that runs in your browser. It contains no code that sends your data anywhere, and nothing is stored by the browser — you save your work as a file on your own computer. It works offline.

What you need · limitations

  • Sales lines and operating expenses as CSV (UTF-8, comma-separated, one header row); up to 8 MB / 100,000 rows per file. Budget and payout control totals optional.
  • Desktop Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, current version. Firefox and Safari haven't been verified yet.
  • One currency, one business per workspace. Management P&L to operating profit on an accrual basis.
  • No balance sheet, cash flow, inventory valuation or tax reports. Reports are unaudited management information, not financial statements or professional advice.
  • No Excel imports (save as CSV first), no direct connections to QuickBooks, Shopify, banks or any other system.
  • Unsaved work is lost if the tab is closed (the browser warns first). Workspace files are not encrypted.

Do I need an account?
No. It's a file that opens in your browser.

Does it connect to QuickBooks or Shopify?
No — you export CSV files from them and import those.

Can my bookkeeper use it?
Yes, for your business only — one business per license.
